Hi Asa, it's been a while! I have been so busy myself, I'm sure you've been busy too. If I ermember right you are doing some intense programming work, and took a break from music for a little while. Mainly I have been focusing on practicing my acoustic work, and a mix song set of covers and originals. I plan on playing out either before the new year or directly after. These free tools probably have some similar windows counterparts or programs very similar. You might just be able to use power point for slide show, and then get a power point to flv converter type of program. Not sure how well the program Handbrake works with windows, but it is very well liked with linux users for video conversion jobs. That would be cool to hear some of your music with some video stuff! You might look at the Gimp again, they are always improving it, and see if you can find some cool scripts, and filters for it. The Gimp for windows has a little plugin that will let it use Photo Shop plugins, and special effect filters. Not sure what it is called but you might find it on a Google search.
